One natural remedy has been around for ages though. It is simple cedar oil. Perhaps you have a cedar wood dresser. This naturally keeps pests out of your clothes because they hate the smell. The same with fleas.

Use cedar oil when you do your wash. You simply place a few drops in the wash load and your clothes will have the scent of cedar oil. The fleas will flee from you instead of trying to bite you. You can put drops on your dog or cat. The fleas will stay away from them. You can keep your home free from the pests by using cedar oil in your cleaning. You can put a few drops in your wash pail.
